Froyo Tam would be a great person to ask about this. She’s been researching early eighties digital fonts, collecting hardware and software, creating her own fonts, and distributing her fonts on flopp…3 -

Theirry is right; people will find ways to pirate your fonts no matter what you do. If they really want the fonts they’ll just use a stolen credit card number to buy them.1 -

What about ATF’s short lived type design software? Did anybody use it? Years ago I read that it could do the scaling and stretching tricks that the Benton pantograph could.1 -

$240 a year sounds expensive but if it saves one hour of work a month I’d say that’s probably worth it.3
